FAQ's

Homecare

This will be discussed once we set up a tailored care package for you. Some people may be eligible for help with funding their care.

How do I pay for my care?

Home care costs depend on the level of help and support you require. We always carry out an assessment and create a bespoke tailored care plan that suits your individual needs. Worried about costs?  Get in touch with us today to discuss this further.

How much do the Home Care services cost?

The first step once you get in touch, is to arrange a conversation with you to discuss what help you may need.  From there we will carry out an assessment and create a care plan based on your individual needs.   You can ask other people to be involved in creating the care plan if you wish to.

How will I know what home care package I need?

We do not offer a one size fits all approach. Our home care is tailored to your needs, whether that be help outside the home like shopping or attending appointments or personal care, such as bathing and dressing.  We will always try our absolute best to accommodate your needs and be flexible whenever possible.

How is our Home Care different?

If you are happy living at home, but may need some extra help with certain things, and don’t have any specific medical requirements which require nursing care, then home care might be right for you.

Is home care right for me?

Respite care is a short-term stay in a residential setting.  Respite can be planned or unplanned depending on your situation.  This can enable people who require support to enjoy meeting others in a different setting, and give the person who usually supports them with their needs, a little time to themselves.

What is Respite Care?

Residential Care

Before any of our carers are allowed to work with you, they must complete a full Induction and undertake the Care Certificate as a National Minimum Standard qualification.  We are also regulated by the Care Quality Commission, we were inspected very recently and have an overall rating of Good.  A copy of the report is available on the Care Quality Commission website if you wish to read it.

What safeguards are in place for service users?

We provide round the clock short term and long-term respite care. Please contact the team and we can discuss what care package suits your needs.

What respite care do you provide?

Residential care refers to long-term care given to adults or children who stay in a residential setting rather than in their own home or family home. We offer 3 residential care facilities all offering respite, long term, short term and day care.

Careers

Our carers are all fully trained and assessed to make sure we provide the highest level of care to our service users. We will always try to keep the number of carers you see to a minimum, this gives you the opportunity to get to know your personal assistants.

Will I have the same carer looking after me every day?

Training

Day care is provided for people who want to continue living in their own homes, but who require additional support with their daily needs.  The care and support is given by professionally trained staff during set hours in a dedicated setting.
